Evaluation and Diagnostic Services I am qualified and have provided careful psychological evaluations for the purposes of answering questions or diagnosing problems with learning or developmental disorders, disability, employment, workers' compensation, child custody, brain injuries or impairment, criminal, probation or parole, and fitness for duty or workplace competence. I have provided second opinions when a prior evaluation was inconclusive.

Therapy and Counseling Services For over 30 years I have provided competent, caring therapy to individual adults, teens and children, couples and whole families for a wide range of conditions including trauma, addictions to substances and behaviors, brain injuries or impairments, legal issues, parenting, spiritual concerns, grief or end of life issues. I have followed two four evidence-based theoretical orientations: Bowen family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, Gottman couples therapy, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to resolving difficulties. As someone who comes from America's heartland, who has lived and worked in 5 countries and visited more, who has been in a committed and happy marriage for 40 years, with adult children, I know and respect the challenges that others are facing. I am able to keep my issues out of the professional care-giving relationship in order to provide you with the best possible care. I am available and ready to serve you.

Legal Matters

Disability determination, child custody, parenting coordination/special master or criminal evaluations are all competently performed. I have been asked to provide second opinions when the prior evaluation was inconclusive.
